Thank you for the comments! I never really noticed that first two images on the top are similar. I was mainly looking at what colours they were and (obviously) ignoring the image. The middle row is not so much a manipulation as just layering different shots over one another. I deliberately tried to get them at different angles and exposures to make it more lively.
I thought of taking some of the inside of the apple but I didn't in the end. I was slightly worried about the flesh discolouring before I got a good shot. Also, the temptation to just eat the thing after cutting would have been hard to resit! ;-)
Thank you once again for the comments. It's only by them that I pick up things that I hadn't thought of or taken into account. I also get some ideas about how to make the next photogragh better! :-)
