I found the pattern for this bracelet in a wire magazine some months ago and liked the design. Only one bead on the clasp, but I didn't want to detract from the pattern of the maille itself.
Beads made with red and green spectrum waterglass. The beads are 5 and 6mm in size and the links are made with 0.8mm 20 gauge gold-plated hobby wire. I had to make just under 300 jump rings and 200 small beads.
Kat bought me a lentil press for my last birthday. The press is so called because the bead is pressed between two blocks of brass to give it a lentil shape, a flattened sphere.
I made these beads today, trying to get two the same size and pattern. As I didn't have any head pins, just the wires and some silver very thin wire, I improvised and these are the result. When I get in some suitable silver wire etc. I will probably redo these as the twists of the wire are not very symetrical.
