Church Panels

This weekend I spent exploring the part of the Cotwold Way national trail. I took some panoroama photos and some others that I am still sorting out but to keep with the stained glass theme that is currently going on I've uploaded a couple of panels I photographed while on my travels. The first is from St. John's Church in Old Sodbury. The church was closed but this panel is located in the entrance porch.

The second is from St. Mary Magdalene Church in Tomarton. This church was also closed but I managed to get a reasonable photograph though one of the plain windows to a panel on the other side. There are several panels in this church but unfortunately there were no convenient plain windows opposite the others.

I've uploaded large size jpg's of the images so that you can see the details in the panel if you click on the 'original size' link on the main image page. They are however compressed quite a lot so they are both under 200kb. I'd like to go back to both of them again when the church is open to try and photograph them again. The blues used in the panels are fantastic. To my slightly un-educated eye it also looks like the first one has been repaired.
